About
My name is Sarah Jelinek and I am an ACE and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and STOTT PILATES Instructor. I have a master’s degree in Kinesiology and I am also an NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist, an ACE Group Fitness Trainer, Medical Exercise Specialist, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and a TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer Instructor. I have trained hundreds of clients and helped them to achieve their health, fitness, strength, and weight goals. I specialize in weight loss, strength development, and sports performance development. I am currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. My training philosophy is trained backed by science, not fads. My training style is friendly and encouraging!
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and later attended Wayne State University where I studied to obtain my teaching certificate and my master's degree in teaching. While teaching, I got certified as a personal trainer to do on the side and in the summer and loved the field so much that I decided to pursue it full-time. I began training and adding certifications, finally pursuing my master's degree in Kinesiology, which I earned from A.T. Still University, concentrating in Sports Conditioning.
When I'm not busy training my clients, I enjoy doing Pilates, lifting weights, doing Zumba, running, rollerblading, reading, watching sports, playing with my dog, Minnie, and hanging out with family and friends.
