What I Offer
 
Personal Fitness Training

Do you want a workout tailored exactly to you?  Do you need a plan for how to achieve your health and fitness goals?  I am an ACE and NASM Certified Personal Trainer.  I provide assessment-driven, evidence-based personal training to ensure you achieve your individualized fitness goals.  I incorporate various modalities, including machines, free weights, suspension (TRX) training, kettlebells, bodyweight, and cardiovascular training.  Programs are varied frequently to prevent plateauing and keep you moving toward your goals.

 

Pilates

Would you love to have a stronger core, better posture, and improved coordination?  Try Pilates!  Pilates is a methodology of exercise that emphasizes all movements emanating from the core.   I am a STOTT PILATES instructor.  I offer in-home Pilates mat training and in-studio Pilates apparatus training (Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair, and Barrels), customized using small props and equipment.  Pilates is relevant for all clientele with a balanced approach to building strength, endurance, and core stability.  It is an excellent training component for clients ranging from post-rehab, to fitness/wellness, and performance.  

 

Corrective Exercise

Would you love to get rid of nagging aches and pains to feel and move better?  I am an NASM-certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and I offer a full range of corrective exercise services.  I will teach you how to release and stretch tight muscles, strengthen weaker muscles, and improve movement patterns, whether it's to feel better or improve your athletic capabilities.

 
Strength & Performance Training

Do you desire to get stronger or perform better for your sport?  Would you like to become more athletic in general?  Allow me to help you improve your strength and game through a comprehensive training program consisting of flexibility, core, plyometric, cardiorespiratory, resistance, and speed, agility, and quickness.  I am an NASM-certified Performance Enhancement Specialist, with a master's degree in Kinesiology, concentrating in Sports Conditioning.  I also utilize Pilates in my approach to bring about superior athletic development.

 

Boxing Fitness Training

Are you looking to get in the best shape of your life using a non-traditional workout approach?  Try Boxing Fitness!  Learn to fight without the fight!  Safe, great for weight loss, cross-training, self-defense, and conditioning.  Incorporate punching, mitt work, jump rope, and core work - excellent for targeting arms, abs/core, and legs.  This is a fantastic way to get a full-body workout without weights and traditional cardio equipment.  Boxers are fit for a reason!

How to Train

In-Home Training 

If you live in the Southeast Michigan area, let me come to you!  I offer in-home personal training, excellent for those who prefer to work out in the comfort of their own home.  Whether you have a lot of equipment, little, or none, I will design a comprehensive and individualized package including workouts, nutrition, and between-session support to help you achieve your goal.  If you are interested in learning more about my in-home personal training services, please contact me with your goals and location.

 

Virtual/Hybrid Training

If you live outside of the Southeast Michigan area, I am happy to work with long-distance clients virtually.  Custom packages will include workouts, nutritional support, and check-ins via email, phone, text, and Skype/FaceTime.  Hybrid packages are also available, combining in-person training to get you started and teach proper form, combined with virtual check-ins and program updates.  If you are interested in learning more about my virtual training programs, please contact me today.

Training Programs

If you already have a gym membership but are uncertain what to do when you're there to help you get to your goal, let me write a program for you!  Programs can include 1, 2, 3, or more individual workouts tailored to your exact goal and needs.  Programs can be geared for full body, upper/lower, push/pull, body part splits, corrective exercise, performance enhancement/conditioning, or any other goal you may have!  Programs should typically be changed every 4-6 weeks.  If you are interested in getting a program to take to your current location, please contact me today.  

Fitness Parties

Family Fitness
